The Southport School Memorial RoomPrint Page
The Memorial Room which was the former Library commemorates former students of the school who served in World War Two. It houses memorabilia from the school`s World War Two veterans.
The stained glass windows in the Memorial Room depict the crests of the three original School Houses - Thorold, Delpratt, and McKinley (all founded in 1909) - as well as each of the Armed Forces.

This Library was built as a memorial to Old Southportonians who served in the World War 1939 - 1945.
Let us strive to be worthy of them.
The founder of the School Bishop H. H. Dixon, M.A., laid this stone on the first day of December in the year of our Lord 1948.
