R.A.A.F. ​No. 31 RADAR STATION
First Australian early warning radar
flown from Sydney on 5th February 1942 
         It was erected here

R.A.A.F. ​radar men together with airmen of United States 
Air Force and Royal Australian Air Force Fighter Squadrons
achieved the defeat of Japanese raids on Darwin.
