The Women`s War Memorial commemorates the servicewomen and the women who worked on the home front during World War Two.   A plaque has been added which also commemorates the men and women who died in service or were killed in action during World War Two.

"Australia Remembers, 1945 - 1995" was a program of activities organised by the Federal Government to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the end of World War Two.
