An avenue of trees which were planted on the 25th April 1920 commemorates the soldiers from the Woodford who died in service or were killed in action during World War One.
Each tree has a plaque with a soldier`s name on it.
The Woodford sub-branch of the R.S. and S.I.L.A. held an Anzac Day service in the Alexandra Hall on Sunday. The service was conducted by Rev. E. Axeleen (late Sergeant of the A.I.F.), and on the platforrn with him were representatives of the Caboolture Shire Council and the president and hon. secretary of the Woodford sub-branch R.S.S.I.L.A. Later a service was held, at which trees planted to the memory of 24 men who died on service were dedicated to their memory.
