The framed paper roll of honour commemorates those from the Fingal District who served in World War One.

The original roll of honour was destroyed by fire when the Fingal Council Chambers burnt down on the 25th July 1929. The roll was of polished blackwood and contained the names of 273 men who served in the Great War.
