The stained glass window, featuring Saint Mark and Saint George, commemorates those who died in service or were killed in action during World War One.
A beautiful memorial window was unveiled and dedicated by the Rev. Padre Cecil J. King. M.A., Chaplain A.I.F., Menangle, on Armistice Sunday at St. John's Church of England, Camden. Rev. T. G. Paul, M.C., was the preacher. The window, which was executed by the Sydney artist, Alfred C. Handel, is wonderfully coloured. On the left panel are the words "St. Mark's Day, 1915," over the figure of St. Mark, who has a just claim to be called Australia's patron saint, as St. Mark's Day— April 25th— coincides with ANZAC Day. Also on this panel is Australia's national flower— a waratah— and the words : "Greater love hath no man than this."

AMDG This Memorial Window was given by the Parishioners of Camden In proud thanksgiving for those who gave their lives in the Great War which began 1914.
