Isis North State School Honour BoardPrint Page
The honour board commemorates former students of the school who served in World War One.
The Isis North State School Honour Board was presented to the school by Mr W.Kelly Senior and unveiled by Colonel Rankin M.L.A. on the 23rd December 1918. The Chairman of the School Committee, Mr Tutin thanked Mr Kelly for the donation and explained that on the board were the names of lads who now properly belonged to Cordalba but had attended the school some years before the Cordalba school existed. All those present stood while the names of those who paid the supreme sacrifice were read out.
