The wooden honour roll commemorates those who served in World War One.

The Tasman roll of honour was unveiled by the Governor, Sir Francis Newdegate at Koonya last week. His Excellency presented certificates to the parents of soldiers who had paid the supreme sacrifice. Lady Newdegate presented medals to those soldiers who had served on Gallipoli. The council clerk presented medals to the schoolchildren. The roll was the work of Mr Garratt of Saltwater River.
