Jamestown Methodist Church Roll of HonourPrint Page
The honour roll commemorates those connected with the church who served in World War One.
At the Jamestown Methodist Church on Monday evening, the ceremony of unveiling the roll of honour was performed by Private Cyril Heron who is the first soldier to return. He was received by a guard of honour formed by the Girls' Guild. A good crowd assembled to witness the ceremony. The roll is of gunmetal, surrounded by crossed guns with the letters in rolled gold.
