Bridgewater Memorial FountainPrint Page
The fountain commemorates those from Bridgewater and District who served in World War One.
General G. H. Dean will unveil the Soldiers' Memorial Fountain at Bridgewater on Sunday. The dedicatory service will be conducted by the Rev. A. Francis, assisted by Mr. W. Nicholls. The Ambleside Brass Band will render special music during the afternoon. The fountain is a massive structure of glazed brick, and will serve not only as a permanent memorial to those of the district who served at the war, but as a source of water supply to visitors and picknickers.
