The wooden honour roll commemorates former students from the Omeo State School who served in World War One.
OMEO Thursday. -His Excellency the Governor accompanied by the Minister for Lands (Mr Oman) and Mr Lind, MLA, arrived at Omeo this afternoon. His Excellency was welcomed by the president of the shire (Councillor Johnston) and councillors at the Shire Hall. The party then went to the State school where the State and convent schools children were assembled. His Excellency unveiled an honour board in memory of over 90 old pupils who went to the war.
