A Golden Cypress tree commemorates the submarines which were died in service or were killed in action in World War One.
A.E. 1. disappeared off Rabual in 1914 with loss of 32 lives, and A.E. 2. was sunk by enemy action in the Sea of Marmora with 32 sailors taken prisoners of war.
