The Avenue of Honour commemorates those from the district who served in World One. The Learmonth Avenue of Honour is part of the Shire of Ballarat Avenue of Honour which stretches for 22 km. 

It comprises of 222 trees including English Oak (Quercus robur), English Elm (Ulmus procera), Dutch Elm (Ulmus x hollandica), Scotch Elm (Ulmus glabra), and Purple Elm (Ulmus x hollandica 'Purpurascens').

The Honour Avenue memorial wall was unveiled by Sir Edward "Weary" Dunlop on 1st August 1993. The wall lists the names of 234 fallen and returned soldiers who fought in World War One.
