The Rotunda with a Roll of Honour commemorates the Ballarat and District soldiers, sailors and nurses who served during World War One and was erected in 1938.

It contained a Book of Remembrance recording the names of every person for whom a tree had been planted in the Avenue of Honour.

The Rotunda was relocated from the Ballarat Golf Club in 1993.
