The honour roll commemorates those from the district who served in World War One.

Armistice Day was honoured at Marrar by the unveiling of a handsome honor roll at Winter's Hall. There was a large assemblage present, and the Wagga Brass Band rendered a programme of music during the afternoon. A platform was erected outside the hall for the purpose of the celebration. Mr. J. Langtry presided, and other speakers were Messrs. J. Blair (Mimosa), J. R. C. Higman (president Coolamon Shire Council), J. Swann, H. Hipwell and H. Eldershaw.

To Lieutenant L. H. Redgrave fell the task of unveiling the honor roll, which he did amidst loud applause. The honor roll, which is being erected by public subscription, bears the names of 60 soldiers, 13 of whom paid the supreme sacrifice.
