Presbyterian Church Honour RollPrint Page
The honour roll commemorates those from the church who served in World War One.
A service was held on Sunday in the Presbyterian Church, Gloucester, on the occasion of unveiling the new honour roll in memory of district soldiers connected with the Presbyterian Church. The minister of the congregation, Rev. S. Russell Scott, B.A., presided and conducted worship. There was a large and representative congregation in spite of the fact that many of the country people were unable to attend owing to the inclemency of the weather.
A special address was delivered by the State Moderator of the Presbyterian Church, the Right Rev. G. R. S. Reid, M.A., who was introduced by Mr. Scott. The honor roll was donated by Mrs. J.R. Higgins.
