The marble honour roll commemorates those who served in World War One.

The 113th anniversary of Ebenezer was celebrated as usual on 26th January. The grounds looked quite imposing under the waving flags, and the weather was most favorable. A large congregation attended the service in the church at 3 p.m. Rev. D. Baird, Minister of the charge, presided and read the lesson from Joshua, 4th chapter about the memorial stones set up by the children of Israel to commemorate their safe passage of the river Jordan.

He said: This stone which is to be unveiled today, like those referred to is set up among many others throughout the land, first, to the honor of God by whose help alone the late great war was brought to a successful issue; secondly, to commemorate the men who gave themselves willingly to the help of the Lord and fought for God, for King, and for country and Empire; and lastly, as in the chapter read, that when the children of the rising generation, the men and women of the future shall ask their father saying, "What mean ye by these stones?" they may make the appropriate reply. After service, the unveiling ceremony was performed by Colonel. J. Paine, V.D., who in an able and vigorous speech spoke of the appropriateness of having such a memorial stone as this erected in what was now the oldest church in Australia, and said he felt honored by being asked to perform that function.

The handsome memorial tablet is of white marble containing the names of 20 men connected with this Presbyterian charge. The ceremony closed with the singing of the National Anthem.
