Dear Monument Australia visitors, we are a self-funded, non-profit organisation, dedicated to recording monuments throughout Australia. Over time the costs of maintaining this website have risen substantially. In the past we have borne all the costs associated with maintaining the website but we are now having difficulties in paying the monthly expenses.
If Monument Australia is useful to you, please make a donation to keep this historical and educational resource available. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Methodist Memorial KindergartenPrint Page
The Methodist Memorial Kindergarten commemorates those connected with the Methodist Church and Sunday School who died in service or were killed in action during World War One.
The foundation stone of the building was laid by Mrs. Jane Dunn on the 21st June 1924. The building was officially opened on 16 November 1924.
Note : The building owned by the Uniting Church is now known as Jane`s Place and a plaque at the building states that Mrs Jane Dunn was the donor. The majority of the funding for the building was raised by the Methodist Sunday School who held fairs and fetes.
