The wooden honour roll commemorates those from Kyogle District and Bonalbo who served in World War One. The roll contains 451 names.

Kyogle Shire Council yesterday decided to remove the honour hoard from the old council chambers to the Memorial Institute . It will be placed near the billiard room at the head of the stairs. A request along those lines was made by Kyogle Returned  Soldiers League.
Kyogle Examiner (NSW), 12 July 1938.
