Two wooden honour rolls commemorate those from the district who served in World War One. The rolls contain 519 names.

New honour boards containing a completed list of names of district men who served in the war of 1914-18 were erected this week in the vestibule of the Kyogle Shire Council Chambers. The new honour boards contain many more names than the orlginal honour roll, which was transferred from the old council building to the vestlbnle of the Memorial Institute, an action , which was strongly criticised by many returned soldiers.
