This plaque commemorates the centenary of the First World War 1915 - 2015.

Across Australia and NSW students, teachers, parents and the wider community will come together to mark, commemorate and remember the lives of those who lived, fought and died in World War 1.

Of special mention is Private James Charles (`Jim`) Martin,  best known as the boy soldier.

Jim died at Gallipoli at 14 years 9 months old. Not much older than some of our students.
