In 1919, residents of East Goulburn planted 70 eucalptys
along Park Road to honour the young men who attended
East Goulburn School, or who were residents of East Goulburn

The original trees and name plaques have long since gone.

The Goulburn Mulwarre Council has planted this avenue
of oak trees along Park Road to re-establish the original
Avenue of Honour that was first opened by Mayor E. Rogers
on the 7th September 1919.
