Centenary of ANZAC Commemorative Precinct Print Page
The Precinct commemorates the centenary of the ANZAC (Australian and New Zealand Army Corps) landings at Gallipoli in Turkey in April 1915 and those who served in World War One.
The area which leads to the war memorial contains a series of plaques commemorating World War One soldiers of the Livingstone Shire who have not been listed on other war memorials as well as plaques containing details of the war between 1914 and 1918. The plaques were unveiled on the 19th April 2015.
Funding was received through the ANZAC Centenary Grants Program.
