Specimen Hill Methodist Sunday School Roll of HonourPrint Page
The framed paper honour roll commemorates those who served in World War One.
Special services were conducted at the church on October 28. The evening service was conducted by the Rev. F. Rankin, who took for his subject the Jubilee as celebrated by the children of Israel at the command of God. At each of these services special singing was rendered by the children, under the baton of Mr. T. Sleeman, with Miss L. Sleeman as organist. Solos were contributed bv Misses G. Nancarrow, E. Hocking, P. Elliott, W. Taylor, and B. Nancarrow. The Rev. F. J. Rankin unveiled a past scholars honor roll containing 42 names, three of the scholars having paid the supreme sacrifice.
