The Memorial Hall commemorates those from Orange and District who served in World War One. The hall was opened on ANZAC Day 1922.
Orange, Wednesday.
Alderman E. T. M'Neilly has raised £4000 for a soldiers' memorial hall. The Memorial Queen competition netted £1993 and this added to the £2000 already collected, gives the amount desired. The State Governor will lay the foundation stone on May 24.
