The Memorial Lych Gate and Lamp of Remembrance commemorate those from the parish who died in service or were killed in action in World War One. The Lamp of Remembrance is located inside the gate and is inscribed with the names of the fallen soldiers.

FRIDAY, 27th APRIL, 1928.
Anzac Day In Boorowa. — A beautiful sunlit sky greeted the celebration of Anzac Day in Boorowa where a memorial service was held at St John's Church of England, at 10.30 a.m., and at which the Soldiers' Memorial Lych Gates were officially opened and blessed.
