Dunbulbalane School Roll of HonourPrint Page
The book commemorates former student of the school who served in World War One.
It lists the names of those who served and a brief handwritten history of their military service.
Miss Vera Nelson was in charge of the school during the whole period of the 1914 -18 war. She compiled a beautifully inscribed Roll of Honour of all the names of the boys from the school who enlisted. When the school was closed about 20 years ago the Roll of Honour was placed in the Presbyterian Church which was opposite the site formerly occupied by the school.
