The Aleppo pine tree (Pinus halepensis) commemorates those who served in World War One.

The Aleppo Pine is one of two species of pine at Gallipoli, the other being the Lone Pine (Pinus brutia).

Funding was received through the Anzac Centenary Grants Program to construct a walkway to the pine tree.
