Penshurst War MemorialPrint Page
The War Memorial commemorates those who have served in the various conflicts in which Australia has been involved.
The monument is a paved floor with central altar of polished granite featuring the cross of St George. Two granite sentinals each end show an old digger disappearing, and the other a young Afghanistan digger emerging. The four pylons show the Australian Army, Royal Australian Navy, Royal Australian Air Force and Women's Services.
