The pathway commemorates those who have served in the various conflicts in which Australia has been involved.
The pathway is lined with granite plinths, with one dedicated to each armed service and all of Australia’s war campaigns since the Boer War.
The original Childrens Memorial Playground was incorporated into the pathway.
