War Memorial CloistersPrint Page
The War Memorial Cloisters ,which lead from the school to the chapel are a gift of Old Geelong Grammarians.
They were dedicated by the Archbishop of Melbourne on the 24th June 1927, the same day as the bronze group war memorial. They were originally erected to commemorate those from the school who died in service or were killed in action in World War One.
Additional plaques have been added to the cloisters to commemorate those who died in service or were killed in action in the other conflicts in which Australia has been involved.
