The Upper Coomera War Memorial includes a 'Digger' statue and was erected to commemorates those of the Coomera District who who died in service or were killed in action in World War One.

An additional plaque was added at a later date to commemorate those who died in service or were killed in action in World War Two.

The unveiling ceremony was performed by Mr  E.H. Macartney M.L.A., who was introduced to the gathering by W. A. Foxwell,  chairman of the Coomera District Patriotic Committee.
