Tewantin War MemorialPrint Page
The monument, which includes a Digger statue, was originally erected to commemorate those from the District who enlisted in World War One. A marble tablet was added at a later date listing the names of those who died in service or were killed in action in World War Two.
Additional plaques have been added to commemorate later conflicts and the Boer War.
It was unveiled by Colonel D. E. Reid, D.S.O., in 1922.
