ANZAC Place Memorial Park Print Page
ANZAC Place Memorial Park commemorates those who have served in the various conflicts in which Australia has been involved.
The Marian sub branch of the Returned Services League officially opened their new ANZAC memorial park yesterday. The land for the park on the Mackay/Eton Road was donated by the Paul family of Marian and was landscaped by the Mirani Shire Council. The park, named Anzac Place, has a commemorative flag pole, rock garden and parade area and will be used for ANZAC Day celebrations.
