The monument commemorates those from the Kalbar District who have served in the various conflicts in which Australia has been involved.

Plaques list the names of those from Kalbar and District who died in service or were killed in action during World War One and World War Two.

Front Inscription

Dedicated to the men and women of the Kalbar District who answered their country`s call in times of war.

May their sacrifice and valour be not in vain.

Plaque :

This memorial has been erected by the Kalbar R & SLA and unveiled by His Excellency the Governor of Queensland Major General Peter Arnison AO on the 10th April 1999
