Hampden State School Remembrance GardenPrint Page
The garden contains timber posts with brass plaques which were placed along the eleven trees in the Memorial Avenue which was planted during World War One.
The plaques and posts over the years had deteriorated and it was decided to make a Garden of Remembrance in the School grounds and re-mount the plaques on new posts. The Garden of Remembrance contains a granite memorial dedicated to all serving men and women and the eleven plaques were mounted on four new posts.
