The hall commemorates those who have served in the various conflicts in which Australia has been involved.
Mr. Reece said yesterday the Government would make a grant of £1500 on a £ for £ basis for the project of the Ringarooma Memorial Hall. The plans had been approved by the Public Works Department. The additional £500 remaining for allocation as a Government grant in the Ringarooma municipality would be used for modernising and expanding Winnaleah public hall to make it suitable as a war memorial.
