Ravenswood Memorial HallPrint Page
The Memorial Hall was erected to commemorate those who have served in the various conflicts in which Australia has been involved.
A total of £343 was raised by dances organised last year by Ravenswood Progress Association. This was revealed at the annual meeting. The money will be spent on building a memorial hall. A sub-committee was formed to inquire into costs when the secretary (Mr. D. K. Jones) reported that temporary plans had been drawn up.
Examiner (Launceston), 25th April 1950.
