Three Springs War MemorialPrint Page
The monument commemorates 21 service personnel who died in service or were killed in action in World Wars One and Two.
At a public meeting on the 15th January 1951 it was decided to launch an appeal for funds to provide a suitable memorial to the fallen of both World Wars. The site selected was in front of the railway station with the public asked to subscribe to the fund which would terminate with a Three Springs Memorial Week held between the 22nd and 28th April. The objective set by the committee was set at £500.
