The Royal Australian Regiment Memorial Walk commemorates those who have have died in service or were killed in action while serving with the Regiment since its formation in November 1948. 

The memorial is a limestone walk through bush land setting with wooden memorial markers representing conflicts, leading to a Contemplation Seat at the base of the walk.   Two granite rocks with memorial plates, set on concrete piers mark the entry of the walk.  

Wooden posts along the walk list conflicts: 
Japan 1945 to 1950,
Korea 1950 to 1956, Battle Honours Sariwon, Yongyu, Chongju, Pakchon, Uijongbu, Chua Ni, Maehwa San, Kapyong, Kowang San, The Samichon,
Malaya 1955 to 1960,
Malaysia 1960 to 1973,
Sarawak 1963 to 1965,
Vietnam 1965 to 1972 Battle Honours Long Tan, Bien Hoa, Coral, Balmoral, Hat Digh, Binh Ba,
Somalia 1993,
East Timor 1999 to 2002,
Afghanistan 2001, and
Iraq 2004 to 2008,

The Royal Australian Regiment Memorial Walk

Dedicated to the members of the Regiment who have made the supreme sacrifice for their country and the Regiment whilst  on overseas service since the formation of the Regiment on the 23rd November 1948. 

The Memorial Walk indicating the areas of operation was officially opened by the Hon.Graham Edwards MHR on the 10th March 2002.
