Cunderdin War Memorial DrivePrint Page
The driveway commemorates 34 service personnel who died in service or were killied in action in World War One and World War Two.
The driveway has a central plantation of rose gardens. The entrance at the south end has a stone pillar on a tiled stone platform in the plantation and stone walls on either side of the roadway. The walls have metal decorations including leaves and lamps in metal containers. A flagpole is fixed on the south side of the stone pillar.
The Cunderdin Memorial Drive was opened by the Premier of Western Australia, Mr Hawke on Anzac Day 1954. The memorial was completed at a cost of £1300 and the Drive was to be the main entrance to the sports ground and a proposed memorial swimming pool.
