Gallipoli
1915 - 2015
This plaque commemorates the 100th anniversary of the famous landing.
In particular the input of the Navy in the form of the Royal Australian Navy Bridging Train, supplying stores and ammunition from ship to shore and up to the front, often under heavy Turkish artillery fire.
Many were decorated, and their casualties were high.
This naval anchor commemorates the 60th anniversary of V. P. Day
