The Soldiers Memorial was an addition to the existing Mindarie Institute and commemorates those who have served in the various conflicts in which Australia has been involved.

Mindarie, July 22. The foundation stone of the Soldiers' War Memorial, a library and dressing room in front of the Institute, was laid by Mr. Downer, MHR, introduced by the chairman of the committee (Mr. Hosking). The work is being done by Mr. E. Brown and a team of workers.
