In memory of old scholars who fell in the Great War
1914 - 1918.

Soon after the conclusion of the First World War, sixteen Tamarisk trees were planted in memory of the sixteen servicemen who did not return. The Tamarisk is a native of the areas in which these men served. The original memorial was constructed neareR the school building in 1921 and was re-sited in 1995 when a W. W. II plaque was added.
