OUYEN, Thursday - Several hundred people were present at the unveiling of the Ouyen War Memorial by Mr. E A Harris, who remarked that it had been a common saying that the Great War was "a war to end war". He trusted that this would prove to be true. The Great War had robbed war of all its glory, and modem inventions had made it a sordid and ghastly business. He hoped that the League of Nations or some such combination would prove powerful enough to outlaw war.
