Shire of Mortlake War MemorialPrint Page
A monument commemorates those from the district who have served in the various conflicts in which Australia has been involved.
The memorial was originally erected in memory of those from the Shire who died in service or were killed in action during World War One and lists the names of the fallen and returned. After World War Two, the names of the fallen in that conflict were added to the memorial. A plaque was added at a later date to commemorate those who served in World War Two and later conflicts.
