The wall and reflecting pool in a landscaped garden on the west side of the Shrine commemorates those who served in the various conflicts in which Australia has been involved since the end of World War Two.

Garden of Remembrance

The Garden of Remembrance was opened in 1985 as a memorial to the men and women who served in the post World War II conflicts named on the walls of the monument.

The pool and waterfall are reminiscent of the terrain in which most of these conflicts were fought.
