Birchip War MemorialPrint Page
The War Memorial was originally erected to commemorate those from Birchip and district who died in service or were killed in action during both World Wars. Plaques have been added to the memorial to commemorate later conflicts.
The memorial comprises of a cenotaph with gold letter inscriptions of sixty-two soldiers who fell in World War One and World War Two. Plaques have been added to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Second World War, Korean and Vietnam Wars and the 40th Anniversary of Long Tan.
