Beech Forest War MemorialPrint Page
The Beech Forest War Memorial was erected in 1949 to commemorate those who served in World War Two. Additional plaques have been added to commemorate other conflicts.
During World War Two, seventy men and women enlisted from the Beech Forest district and a memorial to their service was funded by public subscription. The memorial is important as the original honour roll from World War One was destroyed when the hall burnt down and it was important for the community to commemorate those who served in World War Two.
