Wyndham Soldiers MemorialPrint Page
The Wyndham Soldiers Memorial was originally erected in memory of those from the district who died in service or were killed in action in World War One. The names of those who lost their lives in World War Two were added to the memorial at a later date.
In 1996, the honour roll erected by the residents from Burragate and saved from the demolished Burragate School of Arts was added to the memorial and rededicated. The Wyndham War Memorial Committee received a grant in 2011 to rebuild the memorial which also contains the names of those who served from Wyndham, Burragate and Rocky Hall during World War Two.
